The MSMC is a sub machine gun with some characteristics of an assault rifle. It is good at medium to long range compared with other sub machine guns, but only better at medium range than assault rifles. It sounds very satisfying though, unless you put a silencer on it. This guide explains how to use it well and what the best class setup is.
At the end of this guide is a YouTube video with a visual version of this guide.
The MCMS Sub Machine Gun in Call of Duty Black Ops 2 has a slow fire rate but high damage. It has reasonably strong recoil though which makes up for the high damage. As a result it is best used similar to an assault rifle. But it is still a sub machine gun so you don’t have to use cover as much since it is best if you strafe and aim rather than stand behind cover and aim. When you see an enemy start with hip fire and aim down the sights whilst you fire. At the same time as you start shooting start strafing to the left or right to cause the enemy to start missing you.
Hip fire shouldn’t be used exclusively unless you are very close to an enemy. Weapons with a slow fire rate usually don’t do well at hip fire since it is based on a chance to hit in a certain area and the less bullets the less likely you are to hit. So aim down the sights is almost always better than hip firing. If you are at long range it is better to evade the engagement and flank the enemy to force him into closer range combat.
The class setup I recommend is the following:
When you are strafing an enemy the faster you can move the better. Lightweight gives you a slight increase in movement speed. When you are aiming down your sights flinching due to enemies shooting you is one of the main reasons you miss. Toughness reduces the flinch from incoming fire. Tactical mask is a good perk as you are close to the main fight and tactical grenades are likely to be coming your way.
Semtex are better for this class as you are a bit more aggressive and normal Grenades take a bit longer to blow up. Concussion grenades can be substituted for any other tactical grenade depending on the game mode you are playing and your preferences. A secondary is good with the MSMC so you can switch to it when the MSMC runs dry in a gun fight.
The combination of bad iron sights and recoil make the MSMC difficult to aim with the iron sights at medium range. The Reflex Sight makes the view on the target a bit clearer so you can aim better. The Adjustable Stock increases your movement speed whilst you are aiming down the sights which is an extra benefit on top of Lightweight.
with toughness and scav dextarity and flack
msmc with laser quickdraw and fast mag

You don’t need lightweight if you have adjustable stock

One of the best SMG of the game
I think best combo might be Scar -H a sight the normal electric dont remember name,FMJ,and then anything you think might be good for your gameplay
mostly dont keep secpndry if do is ballistic knife or a ballistic crossbow with night vision =sight
lightweight . hacker . and toughness.
In my oppinion the best weapon is the Fal with the select fire and the reflex scope it is fast and packs a punch on full auto
Well, this is the msmc review not the FAL OSW review. GO to that if you want ot post anything like that
I agree on most of what you said except for one thing… the iron sights. The iron sights on this gun are acceptable. They may not be as good as the Scar-H’s or the AN-94’s, but they are acceptable. I run the exact same class except that I have no secondary, I use Primary Gunfighter, and my MSMC is outfitted with Silencer/Fast Mag/Foregrip. I went 63-33 on a recent game of HQ (not a kill whore, my score was 7770+ and I had at least 18 defends). If you are a conscientious player, you will pick up a gun before you run dry; or better yet, fill up your second slot with one as soon as you can. The Fast Mags make a big difference, and I’m sure Ext Mags would have a similar effect. And, of course, Foregrip reduces that God awful recoil. Hope this helps.
P.S. I don’t care if it doesn’t sound good silenced; the sound of the other players screaming drowns out everything anyway >: D
its not a silencer, its a suppressor and a suppressor does more harm than good, a foregrip increases accuracy and a suppressor decreases it so you would do better without it period.. i use foregrip and fast mags but i like to keep my diamond tac along with my diamond msmc XD so yeah. if i had it my way hough, i’d use long barrel and mayb quickdraw as well… p.s i LOVE the iron sights on it, and my clan tag and emblem sit right at eye level so i can see it everytime i aim in, its just <3<3<3 :).. good luck dude..

oh and p.s.s
i went 32-0 with this class
msmc fast mag foregrip
tac 45 fast mag
do you have a ps3
I agree about the suppressor. I do alot better without than with it I use Quickdraw and Fast mag.
I find that I did better with the suppressor than without it sounds weird but maybe for me it had to do with the fact that I was hidden on mini-map and had not as much sound to place where I am.
I currently use MSMC with suppressor and reflex but I always like to try different combos on my guns just because I don’t care if I suck or not I just go for the challenges and fun.
