To find Mimir’s eye in Jotunheim in Reach in The Journey in God of War throw the axe and the orange panel until the platform has rotated all the way around:
Then throw the axe at the white disc below the orange panel to freeze the platform in place. Clear the rubble and climb up to the platform. When you are on the platform recall the axe and ride to the ledge. Pick up Mimir’s eye from the chest ahead.
To collect keys to enter the stronghold in Hail to the King in Dwarves Favour when you get to the locked door go down the right path first. When you get to the locked door with runes on it pick up a pink spiky ball from the trunk near the door and throw it at top of the left gong:
Use a lightning arrow to explode it and another arrow to explode the pink spikes near the right gong. Make your way through the gate and follow the path. Use the axe to lower the bridge and keep following the path:
Pick up the key off the podium and return to the locked door.
This time follow the left path until you get get to a locked door with a winds of hell sphere in it. Drop down and throw the axe at the white disc below the wheel on the cliff:
Go back below the locked winds of hel door and pick up the crystal when it arrives. Carry the crystal to the area below where you crept across the ledge before and place it into the socket. Use an ice arrow to activate the bridge:
Go back around to the pillar with the winds of hel:
Take the winds of hel and make your way up the slope and across the bridge and put the winds of hel into the pillar ahead. Go past the pillar, take the winds again and transfer them to the locked door. Follow the path and collect the last key.
To break the chains in A Path to Jotenheim in The Journey in God of War go to and lift the door to the right. Use the white disk at the bottom right of the spikes to freeze the first set of spikes at the bottom for a short time and then release them:
Freeze the second set of spikes at the top:
Make your way through the spikes to the other end. Grab a pink ball of spikes from the trunk to the right of the next room and throw it near the bottom of the spikes in the corridor ahead. Use a lightning arrow to explode the ball of spikes:
Step onto the first set of spikes and ride them to the top. When there is a gap ahead roll of the set of spikes into the next room. Break the chains in that room.
Throw the axe at the bottom right of the middle set of spikes you just came through and time your way through the spikes back to the previous room:
Freeze the first set of spikes at the top and use the corridor to get back into the main room. Go across the room and lift the door to the corridor ahead. To get through the revolving spike wheels you need to line them up so there is no offset between them. Use the white disc on the shaft of the wheels to freeze them in place:
Once they are all revolving without an offset time a run through to the next room.
Get the winds of hel in that room and transfer them to the right pillar in the corridor ahead:
Wait for the shaft to be pointing upwards and take the winds of hel back from the pillar and put them into the wheel. When the wheel is at the top take the winds of hel from the wheel and put them back into the door in the room behind you. Go past the first spike wheel and take the winds of hel from the top wheel ahead when it is in the top position and transfer them into the door in the room behind you:
Take the winds of hel back from the door and put them into the right wheel and go through the gap. Break the chain in the room.
To deactivate the vault’s defences in The Black Rune in The Journey throw the blades of chaos at the jewel on the outer ring and carry the winds of hell to the sphere mounted in one of the rooms and transfer the winds of hell to the sphere:
Go into the room and use the wheel. Run through the periodic gap between the first two wheels. Wait for the gap between the second set of wheels to be on the lower right and roll through. Wait for the next wheel to be in the top right and throw the axe at the white disk on the shaft of the wheel to freeze it in place:
Wait for the wheel behind it to leave a gap and roll through. Lift the door to the main area and go back out.
Get the winds of hell from the second ring and transfer them into the mounted sphere in the room you have just come out of and use the wheel. Freeze the first spikes in the top position and time a roll into the gap in the right wall. Wait for a free path and roll out of the gap to the next room.
Exit the room back into the main area. Climb up to the upper level using the wall. Once you are at the top find and drop the chain down. Go around the walkway until you can see the jewel in the inside ring. Transfer the winds of hell from the inner to the outer ring:
Go back down to the lower area using the chain and transfer the winds of hell from the outer ring into the mounted sphere in the last room and use the wheel.
Use the middle lever to move the symbols left and use the left lever to lower the moon:
Use the middle lever to move the sun and the disc to the right. Use the right lever to lower the sun. Use the left lever to raise the moon and then the middle lever to move the disc to the middle. Use the right lever to raise the sun:
