In this guide we will show you how to get up to 23% bonus sprays from the proliferator for free! This will mean that the proliferator is more effective and you will use a lot less of it.

The basic concept is to use a feedback loop to spray the proliferator onto itself. For the Mk.I proliferator this gives you a very slight bonus:
- by default, each proliferate provides 12 sprays
- proliferated proliferate, each proliferate provides 12*1.125 = 13 sprays (assume rounded down from 13.5)
- 1 proliferate can spray 13 others giving them an extra 13 sprays
- in total, sprayed, you get 13*13 = 169 from 14 Mk.II proliferate
- in total, by default, you get 14*12 = 168 sprays from 14 Mk.I proliferate
- so the bonus is 1 or about 0.08 extra proliferate (about 0.6% boost)
The story is better for the Mk.II proliferator:
- by default, each proliferate provides 24 sprays
- proliferated proliferate, each proliferate provides 24*1.2 = 28 sprays (assume rounded down from 28.8)
- 1 proliferate can spray 28 others giving them an extra 112 sprays
- in total, sprayed, you get 28*28 = 784 from 29 Mk.II proliferate
- in total, by default, you get 29*24 = 696 sprays from 29 Mk.II proliferate
- so the bonus is 88 or about 3.67 extra proliferate (about 13% boost)
The story is even better for the Mk.III proliferator:
- by default, each proliferate provides 60 sprays
- proliferated proliferate, each proliferate provides 60*1.25 = 75 sprays
- 1 proliferate can spray 75 others giving them an extra 1,125 sprays
- in total, sprayed, you get 75*75 = 5,625 from 76 Mk.III proliferate
- in total, by default, you get 76*60 = 4,560 sprays from 76 Mk.III proliferate
- so the bonus is 1,065 or about 17.75 extra proliferate (about 23% boost)
So in summary, for Mk.I proliferating the proliferator gives a slight bonus of less than 1%, for Mk.II there is a 13% bonus and for Mk.III there is a nice 23% boost! So keep spraying that proliferator onto itself!
