Skyrim: Ironbind Barrow (Word of Power: Spirit of the Become Ethereal Shout)

Ironbind Barrow is supposedly full of treasure as you find two people outside of it wanting to explore. I killed them so that they wouldn’t get in my way, but I suppose they would be a nice help if you talk to them and get them to follow you. You can find Ironbind Barrow here:

Throughout Ironbind Barrow there are several trap doors. I didn’t try out whether or not they would open, but it is better to stay away from them if you want to avoid wasting time walking around to get back to the top of the trap door or want to avoid dying.

Close to the end of this dungeon there is a helmet on the top of a pressure plat. It is on an elevated platform as you can see in the image below:

Once you take the helmet off the pressure plate spikes shoot up all around the stand. Quickly take a few steps back to avoid the damage. This action will also open the gate in front of you.

In this dungeon you will find the word of power “Spirit” from the shout “Become Ethernal”. This shout is very useful if you are faced with a high cliff that you need to travel down. It is also useful if you are in a situation were you are almost dead but you are about to kill an enemy and want to avoid using a potion. Simply use this shout and become invincible for a few seconds.

Skyrim: Finding the Word of Power in Ragnvald

To find the first word of power of Kyne’s Peace, Kyne, you will need to travel to Ragnvald. There is actually a puzel to open the way to the word of power, you have to find two skulls to be able to enter the chamber in which you can find the shout. You can find Ragnvald here:

On either side of the main chamber before the spikes that block the way above ground level you find doors. The door to the right, at ground level, goes to Ragnvald Temple. Here you will have to follow the path until you find the skull. When you take it a hefty mini boss will spawn along with a number of standard Draugr and other Draugr. I would focus down the weaker enemies and the kill the mini boss.

The left side goes to the Ragnvald Crypts. It can be found above and to the left of the main chamber. Follow the same tactic as described for the Ragnvald Temple.

At the end the boss is fairly tough. Do not rely on magic because Otar the Mad mainly does shock damage which takes away magicka. Do not bother trying to poison him because he usually resists the poison. You may have to lower the difficulty or make sure you break line of sight often and use a bow and arrow.

When you explore the chamber that you now have access to you will find the word of power Kyne of the shout Kyne’s Peace.

Skyrim: Locating the Word of Power at Lost Tongue Overlook

In the Lost Tongue Overlook (mispronounced in the video as Lost Tongue Overcloak) you will find the first word of power of Dismay. You have to kill a dragon when you come there, you may have to lower the difficulty because there is no cover from the dragon.

You can locate Lost Tongue Overlook:

Skyrim Fast Leveling Two handed

Two handed can take a long time to level up in the ordinary fashion. However, if you use the techniques I have outlined below you can solely focus on leveling two handed, speeding up the process significantly.

As with destruction you will want to conjure a creature using the conjugation magic. It is best if you cast the spell that will create the creature with the most health as two handed levels up according to how much damage you deal to a valid opponent. make sure you have some restore magicka potions ready so that you can continues this techniques for a while because on the later levels it takes quite a lot to level up this skill.

The best trainer is Vilkas who can be found in Jorrvaskr (where the companions are located) in Whiterun. Remember that the gold you paid for training can be pickpocketed back as long as it isn’t too much gold (around 2000 gold the chance of pickpocketing approaches 0%).
