Best Deck to Beat Sapphiron in Heroic Mode in Frostwyrm Lair Curse of Naxxramas
Sapphiron’s hero ability in heroic mode is to destroy all of your non-frozen minions so you can’t play a deck with minions in it. This means that you have to play freeze mage and rely on burn and some specially summoned minions to kill Sapphiron in Heroic Mode. The deck list is shown below.

Best Strategy to Beat Sapphiron in Heroic Mode in Frostwyrm Lair Curse of Naxxramas
Play freeze mage against Sapphiron in heroic mode as you would normally playing the delaying tactics such as Frost Nova, Cone of Cold and Blizzard. Play the secrets, Ice Barrier and Ice Block whenever you can so you can survive or long enough. Play the Mad Scientist to get the other secrets that might help you summon minions.
Use Mirror Entity to do a little damage since you can copy one of Sapphiron’s minions after he has played his hero ability. The way to kill Sapphiron is to use your burn cards, such as Pyroblast and Fireball, which don’t quite do enough damage. Hence you have to use your minions whenever you can do do a little extra damage. The Nerubian Egg will also stay around since its 0/2 state will take the hero ability and then summon the 4/4.
Note that it might take a few tries to win the fight since you can rely on the burn cards showing up.

Yep – you got lucky. I’m thinking luck is a significant part of defeating these heroic bosses. Sigh.
it’s bad
I had no problem beating this boss on heroic with cancer hunter, I mean trap hunter, he floods the board a lot so you can make good use of buzzard unleash timber wolves to deal a lot of damage to his face, then keep his minion count in check with explosive shot / traps and just keep working on his face with the eagle horn bow and hero power. Did it on my first try.

u want stalagg and feugan and to use duplicate, also acolyte of pain is useless aswell.
I completely agree and hence have changed the deck slightly. It works but is a little random.
WOO! Finally beat heroic Sapphiron. Using a freeze mage variation:
2x Ice Lance
2x Arcane Explosion
2x Frostbolt
2x Kobold Geomancer
2x Arcane Intellect
2x Counterspell
2x Duplicate
2x Frost Nova
2x Ice Barrier
1x Ice Block (I would have liked 2 and not used Vaporize, but I only have 1 Ice Block crafted).
1x Vaporize
2x Cone of Cold
2x Fireball
1x Feugen
1x Stalagg
2x Blizzard
2x Flamestrike
Using Duplicate with Stalagg/Feugan, as suggested by a previous post, is excellent. I managed to deploy and attack with Thaddius 3 times in my winning match. Just make sure you have a Counterspell ready to stop the AI using Blizzard on Thaddius.
i was using freez mage to beat him for more then 6 HOURS, but with ur deck build i finished him off from first try….. Really thank youuuuuuu :D u deserve a kiss <3

I use Nerubian egg instead of Kobold Geomancer..
Duplicate trick was good for them too.. You can use one on them..
Used your deck build with only a few adjustments….beat him on first try! He did use Blizzard on Thaddius, but lucky me I had “Duplicate” up and got two of them bad boys. Thanks, you’re the best!!! :-)
