I found that the AK-12 is the best gun in Call of Duty Ghosts. The maps are fairly large so naturally the assault rifles have an advantage over submachine guns. Also, if you are ready for enemies, the AK-12 is very powerful at close range and can easily keep up with submachine guns.

The other weapon classes are highly specialized meaning they aren’t versatile enough to contain the best gun.
At medium range the low recoil and high damage means that the AK-12 is highly effective. There are very few weapons that can keep up with the AK-12 at medium range.
At long range the low recoil yet again helps the AK-12 shine. Here snipers do have an advantage over you, but against other assault rifles and submachine guns the AK-12 performs much better.
So the AK-12 has everything. Its good at all ranges and versatile enough so that objetives and killing enemies aren’t a problem. This makes it, in my opinion, the best gun in Call of Duty Ghosts.

Remmington all day!
Remington is still over-powered, due to its high fire rate. If I had to rate it 1-10 it will be 10 considering it’s my favorite gun in the game

I think the SC-2010 is the best gun. especially with bullet penetration and thermal scope on it. Amazing!

Ak-12 destroys all the other weapons in the game
For all purpose, I’d say the MSBS or R5 are my favorites. However, if you feel that a map is small enough for a bulldog, that kicks anything else’s ass.
MSBS destroys the AK12.
